Is the special allowance applicable to all APS? If not then the 100% increase of federal government has no value for maximum APS / cadre. In that case effort by the association is required for granting this allowance to all APS irrespective of their posting with Secretary, Addl Secretary or Joint Secretary etc.

Respected Mr. Khalid Riaz that the revision of rates of special pay we know was a your effort as mentioned it in your proposals in 2013. Questions usually asked but ignored by you is not good as community want you to involve in daily matters. Though respecting colleagues are more and answerable is one. Dear colleagues,AOA I have already pointed out the issue of House Rent Allowance. At present the employees are being paid House Rent Allowance @ 45% & 30% of the Pay Scales-2008. Seven years lapsed and during this period the Pay Scales have been revised twice but the HRA has not been increased which is freezed @ Pay Scales-2008. Now an employee in BS-16 is receiving Rs.2727/- as HRA. In this meager amount one cannot hire any house even single room cannot be hired. The employees who are residing in government schemes or receiving Rent Ceeling in big cities are not worried but the employees receiving 45% % 30% House Rent Allowance are worried. Nothing in this regard has been heard from the employees. All employees are silent in this regard. Please do some thing in this regard.
Dear Khalid Bahi and other of this Forum, AOA. The govt. of Punjab is going to up-grade the notify the all clerical staff and Assistant but our same category of APS is still as it is and nobody have to courage to putup the case to the higher authority for permanent scale of APS-17 becuase if the other category have graded 3 to 4 steps but we have only one step avail the opportunity to take APS BPS 15 to 16. Nobody have interest for further up-gradation of APS whenever, the Govt. of punjab and federal have to up-grade the post they left behind the APS catogery and desired that they get already the opportunity before. so, we should efforts for grant of BPS-17 and it will be brought to the notice of higher authority for permanent scale of APS-17 and further time scale. We should effort and writ in FST for grant of APS-17 and further time scale because the other category of clerical and assistant going to up-grade for further 3 to 4 steps up. It is our request to hero of this forum and we should also effort for getting the permanent scale of APS-17 .We so behind from other category to get the one step up-gradation of APS. Dear Brothers of the community, it is very easy to say and to comment on any issue relates to this community but we all have failed as we never try to help the Mr. khalid sahib. this is the main reason that create a hurdle in our way. no body is ready to pay off the expenses paid or will be being paid in future. I have a little try but failed except some are ready out of many i request all the aps and ps sps to help in this regard mr kahlid sahib so that the cases already initiated in courts or in the offices may be continued.

Salam it is brought to your kind notice that Assistants are up-graded Bs-14 to BS-16 it is good but the steno typist are in Bs-14 why. Assistants are working under the BS-16 & BS-17 but Steno typist are working under the BS-18 and above. i request you to think about this because steno and APS posts are same cadre and take up the cases along steno thank youMohammad ImranSteno Typist

Becuause, the clerical staff up-gradation has been approved by the PM. and shortly, it will be announced in the next budget-16. If, we start struggle for further APS up-gradation or time scale like PS. to covey the message to higher authority, the matter will be resolve within 6-months and it will be announced next budget-16 like other category.Munir QureshiAPS

My job includes interacting& coordinating with high level Civil & Military officials and assisting in administrative and audit tasks.6. The Job of APS placed with BPS-19 Officer is identical in nature and at par with those who are enjoying the facility of Special Pay. It is discriminatory to not allow Special Pay to those APS who are serving with a BPS-19 Officer. This disheartens the APS working with BPS-19 officer/ Head of Department or with other officers. It is worthwhile to mention that the Officer of BPS-19 was not allowed Entertainment Allowance before 1st July, 2005 but it has been allowed while announcing Revised Basic Pay Scales 2005 vide Ministry of Finance O.M. No. F. 1(1)/Imp. 2005 dated 1st July, 2005.PRAYER7. Governments of KPK, Balochistan and now Punjab has upgraded the posts of Clerks Cadre as:Jr. Clerk from BS7 to BS11Sr. Clerk from BS9 to BS14Assistant from BS14 to BS16Superintendent from BS16 to BS17It is discrimination for Steno Typist of BS14 as the Senior Clerk has also upgraded in BS14. Now no difference between Senior Clerk and Steno Typist. A matric based Senior Clerk, no type, no computer, no shorthand, no telephone attendance become equal to Steno Typist while Steno Typist is based of F.A. with Shorthand, Type/Computer, telephone attendance and personal work of immediate Boss.
