Subject: Grant of Advance Increments
Undersigned is directed to refer to Finance Division OM. No. F.1(7)Imp-II/87 dated 01/07/1987 and 1(12)Imp-II/91 dated 29-06-1991 on the above subject and to state that in purshance FST Lahore Judgement in Appeal No. 17(L)CS/2005 dated 26/03/2010 and in-continuation of this division letter d ated 03/06/2010.
It has been decided that Advance Increments for accruing /processing higher qualification will be admissible to those officials who have been promoted to higher post on the basis of seniority cum fitness but were not allowed advance increment to those who passes the same qualification, prescribed for the said promotional post.
The above decision is applicable in all identical cases prior to 01/12/2001 (i.e. the date of dis-continuation of the scheme)
