It is very strange that one the one side Govt has made a committee headed by Dr. Ishrat to remove the anomalies and disparity between the pay and salaries of different deptts. But contrary to their earlier stance on the other hand they are trying to enhance pays of another department which is a clear cut anomaly to all other government servants and is another move to create further disparities and anomalies. I therefore, request concerned quarters of Finance Division and Govt of Pakistan to kindly not do such things and do not promote anomalies if increase is to be given then it should invariably given to all civil/govt servants whether they are provincial or federal, this news has badly hurt all govt servants and we condemn this kind of increases just for one department or the other. By the way what Policy and FBR have done for this poor country who are getting double salaries so do not repeat such childish acts.
We all were astonished and must say stung by hearing the news and then seeing the notification of 20% Audit allowance for all Accouters department, first we want to weep but then stopped as it does not looks good. This recent increase has been treated as salt in our old wounds as these accounts department brothers were saying and promoting the stance that anomalies in different department salaries may be removed by present govt pay & pension committee but on the other hand they have silently have get this another benefit thus creating a further gap and anomaly between different govt departments. We also condemn the P.M of Pakistan and request him to kindly do not promote this kind of disparities and stick to their earlier stance as they were trying to remove disparity between different departments and govt servants but they have this unique benefit to only accounts departments. If it was so necessary then this type of increase must be given to all govt servants as every body is facing this record inflation and expensive created by this govt. I request my brother Mr. Khalid that it is an eye opener for our cadre also as we are trying to get computer allowance of just 1500 to 2000 Rs. per month for last so many months but without any success and on the other side the accounts departments are being given benefit of at least Rs. 3000/month to onward within 02 x days, it clearly speaks that there is some under arm deal between Finance and Accounts department who are promoting each other, but the plot is quite disclosed to all govt servants who have been humiliated badly.
I request my brother that he should make his efforts fast and try to get this computer allowances for Steno typists and Stenographers at least Rs. 3000/month so that this further anomaly may be removed forthwith.
