COMPUTER ALLOWANCE

Subject: COMPUTER ALLOWANCE.

With due respect it is stated that Computer Litracy is a Qualification in the recruitment rules of Steno-typist & Stenographers, and I am working on computer simultaneously & computer is my whole time job. I am entitled for Computer Allowance as per para 7 of the Finance Division O.M No.F.20(4)R-5/90 dated 25.9.1992 (Copy enclosed).

It is requested that computer allowance @ Rs.1500/- may kindly be allowed to me w.e.f 23.12.2011 and oblige.

Para 7 of OM No.F.20(4)R.5/90 Dated 25th August, 1992...........    If an employee is working on Computer/research/design jobs simultaneously, computer being his whoe time job, he will draw only computer Allowance. Similarly if research work or design work is the whole time job of an employee, he will draw only Research Allowance or Design Allowance, as the case may be, provided he fulfills the requirements laid down.

    Can you please upload the above mentioned letter of Finance Division. What about the latest status of computer allowance. Is it still admissible to stenographer. Is any steno taking taking computer allowance.

  3. The rate for Computer Allowance for BPS-16 and above are Rs.1500/- and for BPS-15 and below @ Rs.750/-

    thanks for ur efforts.
    Regarding Computer Allow. can u plz provide a copy of O.M No.F.20(4)R-5/90 dated 25.9.1992, (on this forums) becoz u referred it in ur application.

    please also tell us:-
    the said OM is of dated 25.09.1992 but u are claiming comp. allow w.e.f. 23.12.2011. Why?
    Is it not admissible w.e.f. 25.9.1992 or from the date of joining (if joined after this OM)?
    please clarify the position.

  5. In the Recruitment Rules of Stenotypists and Stenographers our Qualfication enhanced ( Must be Computer Literate) with effect from 23.12.2011 due to this i claim the Computer Allowance from 23.12.2011. I faxed this OM to Mr.Amjid in National Assembly.Or give me your fax number

    On 6th instant, a meeting held with Addl. Chief Secretary, Secretary Finance and Secretary Services Punjab of Apca Delegation regarding Apca demands including the demand of upgradation of the posts of Stenographers/PSs in Punjab and ACS/FS agreed to put up the summary for upgradation of the posts of Stenographers/PSs in Punjab before Chief Minister Punjab within 7-days. Please pray.

    I have gone through the O.M. but i am failed to get the points on the basis of which we should apply for the computer allowance.

    Can you please share us the points on the basis of which a BPS-16 employees i.e. PAs PSs (Stenographers) can apply for this allowance.

  12. Read the Para 7 of the O.M and in our Recruitment Rules it is clearly mentioned ( Must be Computer Literate). Computer Litracy is Qualification for Recruitment of Stenographers and Stenotypist due to this we are eligible for Computer Allowance with effect from 23.11.2011.

Khalid Bahi, Salam, I appreciate your effort and time to time provide the good suggestion, Khalid Bahi, Para-7 may to every body is eligible for computer allowance who operate the computer. lakin kuch officer jo office may bathay howay ha, wo ya khahay gay ka, es may stenographer or stenotypist ka lefz hahi ha or to serf computer operation ka leya ha. Ap say appeal ha, recruitment rules ki copy enclosed ker day establishment division or finance ko request bagwahi jae, ta ka, steno and stenogrpaher and PS ki post ka clear O.M jari ho, es tara kohi bi department esay accept nahi karay ga. Kaya us say palay ap computer allowance lay rahay ha. Maray khayal may ap nahi lay rahay. es leay es request ko establishemnt and finance divison of bajay.

    1. Dear Rehan sb. salam, my first question from you that u are in senate secretariat, are u draw the computer allowance according to para-7 of O.M. I think u are not darwaing the computer allowance with pay. So, is it possible for all of us to draw the computer allowance. it my opinion that we are all using the computer from LDC to PS. But according to recruitment rules, there is no mention designation i.e stano, stenographer etc. I request to Mr.Khalid to submit the request to Fianance to clear that the steno and stenogrpaher and PS are eligible for computer allowance.

My dear brothers........Jab se hamari upgradation howi ha aur Computer ko lazmi qarar diya giya ha es liye ma ne 23.12.2011 se computer allowance claim kiya ha..... es OM ma hamarey category ka zikar es liye nahi ha ka ye 1992 ki policy ha.... Ab hamarey recruitment rules ma ye shamil ho giya ha......Para 2 (ii) bhi zaroor parhain " The Officer has been appointed as per Recruitment Rules".

    Many thanks for your sheer dedication and exploring another source of compensation for Stenographers in the shape of computer allowances. But my point is that I have gone through the whole letter of 1992 of Finance Division quoted by you but there exist no mentioning about admissibility of this allowances to Steno cadre then how they will pay us this allowance. However, you may try to get this benefit for yourself first and if succeeded that provide us evidence proof and then we will be in a better position to claim it in our deptt also.

Baray afsoos ki baat hay kay her problem kay liay hamaray Hero,Mr.Khalid Riaz Suhaib koo khud qadam utana par raha hay,joo kam Establishment aur finance divison nany aur anomalies committee kay karanay kay thay joo bari bari salary govt:kay kazana say lay rahay hain aur BPS-19,20,22,main kam kar rahay hain un koo sharam kay maray jhloo bhar pani main mar jana chaai thaa,liqan yay beysharam joo aik kahrab govt:employees kay dukh dard koo kahan samaj saktay hain ,aur Provincial Govt:walay bhee jab koi notification/orders Centeral Govt:say atta hay tuoo yay aus per endorsement /notification jari karnay main weeks ki bajay months aur year kay bad karawai kartay hain aur bachara RTD,Mulazim ain kay intazar main dynia say fargh hoo jay,Allah karim ain koo bhee naik rastay per chalaiy .Ameen.

  20. Raihan Bhai, u r right, tell me when you were granted selection grade-16 and on which stage you were on 1.7.2007. Because the benefit of 15% increase was not granted to whose who were fixed above 20th stage. This is right every problems is being put on the shoulder of Khalid Bhai, hence he is in contact with Establishment and Finance division, so he can tackle the cases easily and being our leader it is his responsibility. The premature increment is still awaited central government is also not willing to grant increment to those who were in selection grade-16 and now upgraded in B-16. Because the orders of F.D are not clear. Please try to inform Khalid Bhai personally.

Dear Sabir Chauhan Suhaib,AOA,on.1.7.2007,main 24 stages main thaa,jab ham koo BPS-16 main moveover karkay pher BPS-15 main wapas kardia gia,aus parliment ki manzoori say joo khud khair qanooni aur unconstitutional thee aur yay tamam kam main sirfirsat fazul rehman thaa jis nain apani C.M.Ki seat NWFP,main bachanay ki khater aik dictator ka sath dia thaa aur tamam mulazamen ko mazeed taraki nana dainay kay order per daskhat kaiay thay,joo khud too soor ki hadi kahanay walay hain.
